Course packs FAQsCourse packs - either in print or in digital format - are recommended as the best way to ensure that the maximum number of students have access to articles or chapters in books on reading lists. This page provides information on print coursepacks. More information on digital coursepacks is also available. If you require any further advice or clarification, please email Lee Snook (L.M.Snook@exeter.ac.uk). Before creating a course pack you should look at the Copyright Licensing Agency’s guidelines at http://www.cla.co.uk/higher_education_licences.php
If the Library does not own a copy of the original publication, a photocopy may be ordered through Inter-Library Loans from the British Library (BLDSC) or another licensed document supplier. In addition to the normal fee copyright clearance will be charged. This extra cost, which could vary between £5 and £65, will be passed on to the requesting School. 2. How many copies can I make? 3. Can I charge to recover the cost of photocopying? 4. Do I have to include any other information in the coursepack? 5. What are the main restrictions?
Copies of articles from UK national newspapers may be included under the terms of the University's Newspaper Licensing Agency licence - up to a maximum of 250 copies per article. 6. Are there any other exclusions?
