The NLA is the UK’s newspaper licensing agent for text and image preproduction rights and provider of many licensing services for reproducing copyright material in both printed and electronic formats. The company was formed in 1996 to facilitate compliance with UK copyright law.
The NLA Republishing service covers all UK national newspapers and selected major regional titles.
Republishing requests can be made on any content. Republishing is available through this service for any content published since January 2006.
Copying newspaper articles requires a licence. The Newspaper Licensing Agency makes it easier for organisations to manage copyright compliance.
